When the virus ends,
will people be less inclined
to shake others’ hands?
Seriously, folks…In our new social distancing environment, shaking hands is frowned upon. It has been exchanged for fist or elbow bumps, air hugs, and bows. So once we put COVID-19 behind us, will our culture continue to reject that traditional handshake greeting? I believe so. Technology led to a chasm between people even before the virus. After months of protecting ourselves from exposure, I feel we’ll be more inclined to isolate even when it is not necessary. I hope not, but we’ll see…
Stay groovy…
