I recall living with my family in Indiana. We were all swimmers, and we practiced at our local YMCA. It was an indoor pool, as the freezing winters would have made an outdoor one impossible. So after we finished practice, we chose to wait outside for one of our parents to arrive to pick us up. Being kids, we thought it was fun to stand outside in the cold with our hair dripping. Sure, we had our hats on, but our exposed hair would feel the impact of winter. After only a few minutes, we would have icicles dripping off our manes. And we thought that was awesome…
